Usually, companies search for people who have more than the right skills and experience – they look for people who hare really interested in working for their particular company. This is why interviewers usually ask the candidate: ” What do you know about our company? ” or ” Why do you want to work for our company?” In order to be able to answer to these questions you have to make a short research before going to the interview.

First of all, you should try to find the company on the Internet. Nowadays almost each company has a website and there you can find the most important information such as: what does the company do and which are its main objectives.

You can also gather a lot of information about a company if you visit its shops, or showrooms or any other properties which are open to the public. If you do this, you can be sure that you will find out a lot of important things about the company’ s culture, about its employees and about how they should act and communicate with customers and about how the company is organized.

You have to find information in order to be able to answer to questions like:

Can you tell me which are the objectives of our company?

Do you know how many people work for us?

Can you tell me where is our company based or where is its main office?

Can you tell me which are the main services or products of our company?

If you believe that you have an answer to all these questions, then you can go and have a face-to-face interview with the employer! He will appreciate your effort, the fact that you are really interested in his company and the fact that you really want that job!
